How do we start?
Send the enquiry form with a few lines about what you need. We reply with questions or a short call, then a clear proposal with GST. Nothing starts before you agree.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Every business needs a slightly different set-up: number of plants, users, meters or pages. We send a clear proposal with GST for your case, with the yearly charges written down.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in a web browser on a phone or a computer. On a phone you can add it to the home screen so it opens like an app.
Where is our data kept, and who can see it?
On our cloud, with daily backups. Each customer and each user has their own login and sees only what they are allowed to see. You can ask for a full download of your data at any time.
Can you work with our existing meters, inverters or software?
Often, yes. Tell us the make and model and we check before we start. For software, tell us what you use today and we suggest how to connect or move from it.
Can we move our billing from Tally?
Yes. io.Nest Books imports parties and stock items from a Tally masters export, so you do not type them again.
Who can update the website you build?
Your own staff, from the admin panel: products, photos, videos, pages and enquiries. No coding needed.
What happens if something stops working?
Send us a message through the enquiry form or your usual contact. The team that built and hosts your software looks at it, so there is no passing between companies.
Can we use our own domain name?
Yes. We set up your own web address with a secure (HTTPS) certificate that renews automatically.
Do you build software only for solar companies?
No. Solar and energy is where we started, but we build billing, websites and custom software for any kind of business.
How are payments made?
As written in the proposal: usually a part in advance and the rest on delivery, with yearly charges for hosting and support where they apply. Every payment gets a GST invoice.
Is there a Hindi version?
io.Nest Books can print invoices with Hindi and English labels. Our videos are in Hindi and English. Ask us if you need more in Hindi.
